Mrs. Marie Merritt, 87, died yesterday at the home of Guy Merritt, her son, at 1011 Tefft St., following a brief illness. She was born in Pullman, Ritchie County, and was a member of the Methodist church at Pullman.
She is survived by two sons, Guy Merritt, at whose home she died and Leonard Merritt, Wheeling; two daughters Mrs. Gladys Hendrickson, Parkersburg and Mrs. Lexie Price, Londonderry, O. and 25 grandchildren and 15 great-granchildren.
The body was removed to the Franklin funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete..
