Irene was the youngest of the children born to Willie Dell Huff and his first wife, Epsey Ola Miller. Her Mother died while she was still an infant and Papa Huff married Bulah B. Wilson Pinner in Sabine Co., TX on Jan. 26, 1923. Mama already had 4 Pinner children from her 1st marriage. Later 8 more children were born.
Irene married Dru McMicken "Mack" Holmes on Oct. 9, 1936. They made their home in the Holmes settlement and children born to them were:
Roger, 1938; Rose (Levosky), 1939; "Yak", 1940; Taylor,1943; Billie Mack and Lilly Irene (twins born 1944); Linda Sue, 1948; and John W.
After Mack Holmes died in 1960, Irene married Harry Arnold Bilbo. When Harry died, she went to live in PA with daughter, Rose. Irene was a beautiful woman but seldon went out because Parkinson's Disease caused her to tremble. She lived in the Buna Convalescent Center the last years of her life.
