Wayman E. Robinson, 71, La Grande, Ore., died May 27 in Garden City, Kan. Mr. Robinson was born at Brumley to Oscar and Emma Patten Robinson. In 1929 he was married to Gertrude M. Workman of Jefferson City.
He worked as a brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years. He was a member of the La Grande Lodge 41 AF and AM Scottish Rite, Baker Consistory.
Survivors include a son, Jack Robinson, Imbler, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Whitman, Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Vivian Abell, Pendleton, Ore.; a brother, Wilford Robinson, Kaiser; five sisters, Mrs. Lillian Payne, Union, Ore. Mrs. Hazel King, Hermiston, Ore., Mrs. Fern Bryant and Mrs. Bethel Stamper, both of Brumley; and Mrs. Faye Grew, Sparks, Nev.; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 30 in La Grande with burial at Island City, Ore.
