Bro. C.N. Hewett of Shallotte NC
Was born Sept 21 1887 and departed this life Dec 2 1953 at the age of 66 years. Bro Hewett will be missed by all that knew him. He will not only be missed by the church and Sunday school but his going is a loss to the community. His funeral was conducted by his pastor Rev. Harold Gore and his former pastor Rev. J. Johnson. Resolve that the sudden removal of such a life from among our midst leave a vacancy and shadow that will be deeply realized by all the members and friends of this organization and will prove a serious loss to the community and the public. Resolve that a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of Jennies Branch Church and a copy sent to the bereaved family.
