Born December 18, 1905, at Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Albert and Lizzie (Dye) Palmer, he died Friday, June 3, 1994, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Palmer was a long-time resident of Wagoner. He was a retired auto mechanic and also a retired minister. He pastored the Ray Mission Church in Sequoya State Park for more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Veva, of the home; a brother, Ellis Garrison of Wagoner; and a sister, Sallie Baker of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers were Vernon Goodman, Kermit Rhodes, Jim Rhodes, Roy Cowden, Russell Jones and David Thornburg. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Mallett Funeral Home.
