Susan Darlene Lee Lovell

Susan Darlene Lee Lovell, 47, of Athens, died Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, following a sudden illness.

She was born on July 18, 1961, in Easley, S.C., the daughter of the late Dink and Nervie Mae Lee Anders. She was a lunchroom attendant with the Hall County School Systems, but most recently with Lakeview Academy.

Survivors include fiancé, Donald Lovell, Athens; sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel McDonald, Maysville, Dusty and Kim Lee, Jefferson; granddaughters, Savannah Lee, Jefferson, Leleigh McDonald, Maysville; grandson, Corbin Lee, Jefferson; stepson and spouse, Donny and Trina Lovell, Gainesville; stepdaughter and spouse, Rhonda and Shane Miller, Lula; brothers, Danny Anders and Willie Anders, Easley, S.C., Calvin Anders, Pendergrass; sisters, Patricia Anders, Cleveland, Diane Anders and Shannon Anders, both of Gainesville; father of her son, Dusty Lee, Doug Lee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, at 2 p.m., at Memorial Park Chapel with the Revs. Parrish Myers and Marvin Harris officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Fork Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Susan Lovell Fund at any Community Bank and Trust.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
