Ralph C. Yadon of Blockton, Iowa, was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery, in Blockton, Sept. 24, 1963, having passed from this life in a Kansas City hospital two days earlier. Brother Yadon was slightly over 75 years old, and had been a Christian 58 years. During his 57-year ministry he did both local and evangelistic work in ten states--from Illinois to California. One of his greatest desires was to see unity and harmony among God's people. A contemporary, A. R. Kepple, describes him as a great "preacher of peace." One of the last accomplishments of Bro. Yadon was the publishing of a book, Introduction to the Study of the Book of Revelation.; Copies are still available and the income from them will be used to help defray hospital expenses. Bob D. Smith of Wichita, Kan., assisted by C. C. Hanks of Pearl, Illinois , A. R. Kepple of Kansas City, and the writer, conducted the service at the Tent Chapel church building near Blockton. The singing was done by a quartet of A.C.C. students which consisted of two of his granddaughters, Jeaneene and Jeanelle Yadon, Mike McGuire and Jim Nichols. At the graveside the family sang "Blest Be the the that Binds." Brother Yadon is survived by his companion of 50 years, Susie M. Cobb Yadon; his son, William Morris, an elder of the Overland Park, Kan., church; three granddaughters, two brothers and one sister. ---W. Don Fike, Overland Park, Kansas.
