Marty Brown, 46, passed away December 30, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton. Marty and his wife, Cindy (Beason) had been married 27 years and made their home in Centerville. Marty and Cindy have four sons and one daughter-in-law, Bryan and wife, Corrinne, Craig, Grant, and Cameron. Marty and family have attended South Brook Christian Church for many years and Marty's desire was to have his services at the church. Marty worked for the City of Moraine, as their Financial Director, a job he enjoyed and took great pride in. Marty will be greatly missed, as he was greatly loved by his family and friends. Marty's mother, Anita Berry, his step-father, Lynn Berry, sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Becky Bond and their children, all reside in Xenia. Marty's father, Watson Brown, died in 1968. Services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at the South Brook Christian Church, 1150 W. Spring Valley Pk., Centerville, with Rev. Charlie McMahan officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Wednesday, until service time at the church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Marty requested, instead of flowers, that donations to South Brook Christian "Project Upstream." He will always be remembered as the best husband, father, son, and friend a person could have.
