Doris Elizabeth Ehn, the daughter of Oscar and Julia (Sandberg) Harney, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on April 20, 1925 and died at Aurora, Nebraska on April 26, 2009, at the age of 84.

She graduated from Phillips High School and then went to work in Lincoln.

On January 4, 1958, she married Marvin Ehn. They lived in Ceresco and later in Central City. Marvin passed away on August 19, 1993. In November 2002, Doris moved to Merrick Manor. In May 2005, she went to live at Hamilton Manor in Aurora

Doris especially enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining friends in her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her sister, Lucille Pipher of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Don (Mary Jane) Harney of Aurora and sister-in-law, Mrytle Ehn of Central City. She is also survived by 3 nephews; 3 nieces and also grand nephews and grand nieces.
