Obituary: Bruce A. Banks was reunited with his eternal companion Doris, on Sept. 25, 2002. He passed away peacefully. He will be remembered for his love and devotion towards his sweetheart, family and friends. During World War II he served honorably as a Master Sargent in the U.S. Army in the European Theater. Bruce was last employed by IML Trucking as a master mechanic, but throughout his life he was also a cowboy, forest fire fighter, farmer, letter carrier, entrepreneur and excelled in all his endeavors.

He is survived by a son, Douglas (Sylvia); daughters, Barbara and Gloria; grandchildren, Debbie, Robbie, Richard, Melissa (Tony) Rydman, Lance, Tenille (Brad) Bowser, Tatiana, and Spencer; Brandon and Drew; brothers and sisters, Gayle (Julia), Russell (Ione), Beulah (Bob) Sorensen, and Catherine. A viewing will be held from 7:30-9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2002 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, Utah. Graveside services will be in Springfield, Idaho, Saturday at 10 a.m.
