Benjamin F. Clement, son of Benjamin and Lydia Ann Clement, was born in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Ohio, February 15, 1856, and died at the home of his brother, George Clement, on Mira Valley, January 13, 1918, of cancer of the stomach.

Just one year ago, January 13, 1917, he had come to his brother's home to await the end. Funeral services were held at the home, Monday afternoon, January 14, conducted by Pastor A. L. Davis, and burial was made in the village cemetery at North Loup. A. L. D.
