From her obituary at the Davis Funeral Home:

Born Susan Ray Blancha, she was pre-deceased by one brother, Erwin. Younger siblings Sonya Blancha Thomas and Edward Blancha reside in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, respectively. Long-time summer residents of Sunapee, Susan and Victor divided their time between their Trow Hill home and the Hunt Community, a residential community in Nashua.

Among Susan's proudest accomplishments were her offspring: Lynda, a recently retired teacher who resides in southern Vermont, and Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith. Susan lived her life at the center of great creative activity. Among her friends and family were painters, concert pianists, orchestra conductors, inventors, mathematicians, dance-band leaders, actors, singers and poets. Susan's own creativity can be seen, not only in her progeny, but in her oil paintings, her cut and pierced lampshades and other craft work, which grace homes throughout New England.

Susan was a wonderful cook whose blueberry pies are legend in the family. She was a highly competitive Scrabble player. She loved crossword puzzles, sewing, knitting, needlework, traveling with her husband, and nature. Susan gave of herself through her volunteer work. She learned to type Braille books, and volunteered many hours at the Sunapee Town Thrift Shop.

Later in life she was a member of the knitting group at the Hunt Community, making clothing for newborns. With other members of the Tallarico family, Vic and Sue ran Trow-Rico, a summer resort in Sunapee. In all, four generations of Tallaricos participated in the operation of the music camp and family resort through the decades.

She is survived by her husband Victor, her son Steven Tyler - born Steven Victor Tallarico - and his sister Lynda - as well as Tyler's children Liv, Mia, Chelsea, and Taj. Her heritage is Cherokee and Ukrainian.

She died of natural causes.
