Lindop Services Set for Thursday
Childress, Texas (Special) -
Funeral Services for Mrs. G.W. Lindop, 83, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday from the Childress First Methodist Church with Rev. Rollo Davidson, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Lindop died Tuesday in Wapanucka, Okla., following a heart attack. She lived there with a daughter, Mrs. Fate Russel.
She was born in Tennessee and had left Childress only two years ago.
Survivors include three sons, George Lindop of Farwell , Tex., Herbert Lindop of Amarillo, and Olin Lindop of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Ota Lash of Ventura, Calif., Mre. Lora Sears of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Dora Hoover of Lancaster, Tex.; the brothers, Ed Smith of Farwell, Evans of Fort Worth, and George Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Newberry Funeral Home.
