J. W. "Jack" Moore, age 69, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS. He was born August 30, 1938 to Christine Stephens Moore of Raymond, MS and the late John Trammel Moore. He was a retired Fireman from the Jackson Fire Department and an Army Veteran. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church in Ripley.
There will be a private family graveside service only. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Moore White & husband, Dale, of Jackson; one son, Justin Moore of Huntsville, AL; his mother, Christine Stephens Moore of Raymond, MS; four sisters, Barbara Shedd of Brookhaven, MS, Betty Wingo & husband, Billy Zane, of St. Louis, MO, Billie Yates & husband, W. M., of Blue Mountain, MS and Bonnie Hall & husband, James, of Brandon, MS; and three Grandchildren, Gunnar White, Harley White, and Kane Moore.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Trammel Moore.
