Born in Latvia, she left that country at the age of 8 and was raised by an aunt in Sioux Falls, SD. After moving to Klamath County she was employed as a planter and sorter with the Weyerhaueser Tree Nursery.
She was preceded in death in 1977 by her husband Scooter Jackson, Klamath Falls, who traveled the rodeo circuit.
Survivors include her mother, Anna Lava, Sioux Falls, SD; step-sons, Loren D. Jackson, Portland and Dewey A. Jackson, Pendelton; son-in-laws Gordon Bussell, Happy Camp, CA and Don Cox; daughter, Blanche Van Uden, Klamath Falls; daughter-in-law, Kathy Jackson, Portland; and mother-in-law, Clara Jackson, Klamath Falls.
She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters remaining
