Benjamin "Ben" Wade Stroud, 55 of Gettysburg, PA died Monday August 20, 2007 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.
Born December 9, 1951 in Norfolk, VA he was the son of Cora June Judy of Glen Rock, PA and the late George Albert Stroud, Jr. He was the husband of Pamela D. Stroud.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hanover, PA.
Before his transplant he worked at Tevis Oil, Eagle Oil and A.L.S. Inc. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1970. He enjoyed his Bonsai Trees, arrowhead collection and was an avid Orioles and Ravens Fan.
Surviving besides his mother and wife is son; Marc Truman Crouse of Bonneauville, PA, step father; Allen Judy of Glen Rock, PA, brother and sister-in-law; Al and Sandy Stroud of Westminster, nieces and husband; Kelli and John Mayselles of East Berlin, PA and Ashli O'Brien of New Oxford, PA, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece.
He was predeceased by brother; Douglas Eugene Stroud.
Funeral services will be held on Friday 1 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Home, P.A., 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD with his pastor the Rev. Tim Kielley officiating. Interment in Krider"s Cemetery.
