Mrs. Rachel B. Prior, 85 of Conway, formerly of Little Rock, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Mrs. Prior was born September 26, 1923 in Cash, AR to the late JT and Mary (Sutherland) Hallmark.
Mrs. Prior was an active member of Central Baptist Church. She retired from Kimberly Clark, and formerly worked at Timex in Little Rock.
Mrs. Prior is survived by daughters Phyllis Wells of Little Rock and Julia Cooper of Conway, grandson John Tyler Prior of Conway, brother-in-law James Prior and wife Laverne and sister-in-law Rea Riley, all of Conway, and niece Karen Sue Irby of Conway.
She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Prior, son Calvin Prior, sisters Mary Adams and Lucy Herman and brothers Huston, Georgie and Troy Hallmark.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Don Chandler.
