McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lula Mae Boyd, 92, died Dec. 6 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.

A housekeeper with McMinnville Grammar School and the Warren County Emergency Food Bank, she was the daughter of the late Will and Lizzie Ramsey Hopkins; and was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Boyd in 1981; grandson, Chris Boyd; granddaughter, Angela Boyd, six brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Boyd of McMinnville and James Boyd; grandchildren, Charlie and Deanna Boyd of McMinnville and Laveda Boyd of McMinnville; great-grandchildren, Jamaine, Brandon, Kristyne, Jalen, Keyonna Boyd and Dewayne Lewis; and daughter-in-law, Elsie Boyd of California.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at High's Chapel with Bishop Timothy Scotton officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday. A wake will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday at High's.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
