Of Falmouth died at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
A U.S. Army veteran and had served in World War II. He retired as a plumbing supervisor from the Quantico Marine Corps base and later from the Fredericksburg Auto Auction. A member of American Legion Post 290 as well as St. Mary Catholic Church.
Hugh was the fourth generation of his family to farm the home place, Leeland Farm.
Married Anna Fleming Graninger; father of three children.
