Tommy Ray Sparks, 77, of Princeton, TX died Friday, June 6, 2008 at his home. He was born May 24, 1931 in Lewisville, TX to Thomas Morgan and Nannie Bell (Evans) Sparks. He was married to Arrie Lee Snow in April 1963 in Lewisville. He was the Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Mail Service in Dallas. He is a member of the Central Baptist Church in Lewisville and the Masonic Lodge in Euless and Princeton.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Roselawn Memorial Park , on 3801 Roselawn Dr. Denton, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton, TX for visitation on Monday, June 9, 2008 from 6 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Sparks is survived by his wife, Arrie Lee Sparks, of Princeton, Daughter, Judy Goodman, of Lewisville, a sister, Margaret Kelley, of Lewisville, and four grandchildren, Whitney Grubbs, Jarrod Goodman, Caleb Goodman, and Tommy Sparks, II and Great Grandchildren Britton Sparks and Berkley Sparks. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Ray Sparks, and Samuel D. Sparks.
