Mr. Leroy Page, 61, died early Friday afternoon in a Florence nursing home following a long illness.

Mr. Page was born in Horry County, a son of W.M. and Mattie Caldon Martin Page. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of World War II United States Army.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are seven brothers, M.C. Page, J.V. Page, and H. M. Page all of Galivants Ferry, Lester R. Page of Holly Hill SC, Rupert Page of Franklinton NC, Robert V. Page Louisburg NC and Ravanell Page of Harleyville SC; two sisters Mrs. Richard (Angie) Abbott of Manassas VA and Mrs. Aylon (Ruby) Lawson of Galivants Ferry. Funeral services were held Sunday from the Goldfinch Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Evans and Rev. Edward Graham officiating.

Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. Funeral was directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home.
