Rhonda Rena "Pebbles" Stone, 45, of Etowah, died early Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008, at her residence.

A native and resident of McMinn County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Luther Don and Margaret Stephens Stone. She was formerly employed by Anderson Drug as a Pharmacy Technician, and was a member of the North Etowah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde Franklin Sr., and Marchie Tallent Stephens; her grandfather, M.L. Stone; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special great-grandmother (Mamaw Granny) Ethel Beulah Davis Stone, who led Rhonda to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Survivors include a loving and devoted sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Bobby Stair of Knoxville; a precious brother, Darin Stone of Etowah; her grandmother, Elizabeth Stone of Etowah; a special aunt and uncle, Bert and Hoyt Williams of Delano; special friends, Dennis and Linda Bordwine of Etowah; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at North Etowah Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19th and proceed to Green Hill for the 11 a.m. committal service, which will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.

Mike Cheek, Rex Stone, Austin Williams, Scott Stephens, Bill Moates, Dennis Stephens, Eddie Davis and Chris Stone will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Etowah Baptist Church, 231 Pennsylvania Ave., Etowah, TN 37331.
