She retired in 1973 from the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where she had worked for 31 years.
Survivors include her niece, Dolores Fern Harvey; grandnephews, Spencer, James, & William Harvey; great-grandnieces and nephews, Michael, Christina, Sidney, Ryan, Rebecca, Harrison, & Colton Harvey, and many cousins in Illinois and California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Spencer A. Abbott & Fern Mary Prather Abbott; sisters, Fern Callie Abbott Harvey and Virginia May Abbott.
Interment followed funeral services conducted Thursday, May 1, 2008.
