Born Margarntsk in southern Russia; other sources state birth was in Waterloo area near Odessa. Married Fredricka Lutz (1/1848-8/9/1930. Died May 28 or 29, 1910, Gackle, Logan, ND (May 29 according to NNDI). Trained as a cobbler. Last residence: Stutsman County.

Ernest Remboldt, father of Pete, died last Sunday. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational Church. The family has the sympathy of the entire community in their loss.
