Mrs. Edna Diggs

Mathews - Mrs. Edna Virginia Diggs, 68, died Thursday at her residence in Foster.

She was a member of Grace-Providence United Methodist Church, Mobjack, and was the widow of C. Marvin Diggs.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Millard C. Hall of Foster; three sons, Thomas Maywood Armistead of North; Milton Lee Miller of Hayes and Raymond Elwood Miller of Mobjack; a sister, Mrs. Allen Smith of Portsmouth and nine grandchildren.

The body will be at the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, until 1 p.m. Sunday when it will be moved to Grace-Providence Church where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. The Rev. David P. Camden will officiate at the service assisted by the Rev. Otis N. Joyner of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
