Worth M. Harkins of Seguin died Thursday, Sept. 28, at the age of 86. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Ray officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Killeen Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Schmidt officiating. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Harkins of Seguin; children, Jack Worth Harkins and wife Fanny of Seguin, Billy Morton Harkins and wife Ebby of Seguin, Tommy Joe Harkins and wife Linda of Seguin and Linda Sue Bedford and husband Dick of Seguin; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Merile of Atlanta, Mildred Stafford of Dallas and Beatrice Stewart of San Saba. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Harkins, Roger Bedford, Billy Harkins, Paul Jackson and Kevin Harkins. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or. the American Cancer Society
