He was a Native of Princess Ann Co., VA, and lived in Hinesville for the past 20 years.Son of Mathew M. Bruce and Mary Frances (McClanan) Bruce. He was a retired 1st Sgt. with USArmy, a veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Masconic Lodge #271, member of the Alee Shrine temple and retired civil srvice amployee at Fort Stewart. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Jeanette A. Bruce of Hinesville, one daughter Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mahalko of Hinesville, and two step daughters, Mrs. Rode Marie Kelly of T and Mrs. Cheryl Dawn Rose of FL. He was buried with full military honors.
