STUARTS DRAFT -- Mrs. Lollie Ann (Bailey) Singleton, 77, of Stuarts Draft and formerly of Mt. Crawford, died Saturday night (Aug. 26, 1966) at King's Daughters' Hospital. Mrs. Singleton was admitted to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
She was a daughter of the late Sarah Catherine and William Henry Bailey Jr. and was born Sept. 13, 1888 at Fort Defiance. She attended Bridgewater College and later lived in Mt. Crawford for 15 years before moving to Stuart's Draft 19 years ago. She was a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Miss Lillie Bailey of Stuarts Draft and Mrs. Grover Carpenter and Mrs. C.C. Rosen, both of Mt. Crawford, and two brothers, C.A. and Dr. Benjamin F. Bailey, both of Staunton.
