Staff Sergeant John Frederick Albright served in the 364th Bomber Squadron as a Radio Operator, 305th Bomber Group (Heavy). He was killed in action during the way back from the mission. The plane was shot nearby the Danish coast and crashed in the North-Sea. He is honored with the Purple Heart.
