Mrs. John J. Oldroyd passed away on the evening of June 15th after a long and painful illness of cancer. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the meeting house. The speakers were Wm. Collard, Jas. L. Nielson and A. Jas. Aagaard. She leaves a husband and the following children: J. T. Oldroyd, Mrs. Hever Livingston, Leonard, Milton, Merrill and Jessie Oldroyd. There was a large attendance at the funeral. Mrs. A. T. Oldroyd and Isaac Oldroyd of Glennwood were the visiting relatives to attend the funeral.
