Geneva B. Bleifuss, 82, of Aurora CO, formerly of Galesburg IL, died in Aurora on Monday at 10:45 p.m.
She was born February 21, 1908 in Riverside IA, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Mottis Prebyl. She married H. Fred Bleifuss in June 1944 in Chicago. He died in 1965.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Bleifuss and Donna Bleifuss, both of Aurora; one sister, Dorothy Shalla, Iowa City, IA and two grandchildren.
She was a bookkeeper for 15 years for Galesburg School District 205, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and its Guild, and St. Mary Medical Center's auxiliary and volunteers.
Funeral commenced the following Friday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with the Rev. James Morissey officiating. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Galesburg.
