Dale was born November 9, 1916 in Clinton, Utah, the oldest son of George Ezra and Emma Barton Beus. He was a graduate of Davis High School.
Dad married Shirley Priest on June 21, 1934. One year later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had six children.
He served with the U.S. Air Force in World War II and was honorably discharged after a disability.
Dale was a High Priest and of the Riverdale 4th LDS Ward where he served as a Stake Dance Director and worked in the Young Men"s Organization. He was also a Home Teacher and served in other various positions in the Church.
He was employed as a lineman for Utah Power & Light Company and previous to that on the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. He was a South Ogden Volunteer Fireman and a lifelong member of the I.B.E.W.
Dad was an avid golfer, bowler, and devout fan of his grandchildren"s many sports, dance and other activities. He loved to read. He was a kind and generous father and grandfather. He loved his "88" Cadillac.
Surviving are his devoted wife, Shirley, Riverdale; three sons, Larry (Sharon) Beus, Ogden; Michael (Connie) Beus, Ogden; Brad J. (Jelean) Beus, Hooper; two daughters, Kaye (Robert) Kellerstrass, Ogden; RaNae (Ken) O"Connell, Las Vegas, Nevada; 30 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
His parents, one daughter, Carol Lynn, two brothers, Henry and Val, and one great-grandson, preceded him in death.
