Lela Lorene Crawford was born July 12, 1924 in Denison, Texas to Lewis L. and Effie Mae (Britt) Payne. She passed from this life April 23, 2009 in Antlers, OK, at the age of 84. Lorene married Clarence Crawford November 14, 1946 in Arkansas. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing with the grandchildren. Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis L. and Effie Mae Payne; her husband, Clarence J. Crawford; four brothers: Tommy Payne, Roy Payne, Kenneth Payne, Odell Payne and step-brother: Tom Skinner; three sisters: Udola Barnett, Corma Lita, Bonnie Crawford. She is survived by her her children: Phyllis J. Nored and husband, Jerry of Moyers, OK; Steve Crawford and wife, Elaine of Corinne, OK; three sisters: Mary Shatswell of Henryetta, OK, Ruth of Hoffman, OK, Judy Jones of Dustin, OK, Nadine Caleb of Saratoga, WY; four grandchildren: Kelly Thomas and husband, Jerry; Stacey Gravitt and wife, Tammy; Mandy Crawford; John Crawford and wife, Stephanie of Edmond; four great-grandchildren: Tasha, Joey, Shaelan, Kaden; four great-great-grandchildren: Kelli Rae, Nolan, Brodie, Rylee Jo; as well as many other relatives and friends. Services wil be Saturday, April 25 at Rattan First Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Marr and Rev. Andy Reed officiating.
