Funeral service for Gracie W. Cleckler, age 95, will be Friday, March 27, 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Dr. John Beck officiating.

Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Cleckler died March 24, 2009 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, ALý.

She was a member of Childersburg First Baptist Church for 59 years, worked at Beaunit Mills, Cohen's and Emmory's in Childersburg.

She was preceded in death by husband, Eugene G. Cleckler.

Survivors are a son, Thomas E. Cleckler of Fredericksburg, TX; daughter, Dorothy C. Kidd of Childersburg; five grandchildren, Steven (Debbi) Kidd of Oakdale, CA, Sharon (Tim) McNay of Hoover, Marsha (Ross) Railey of Decatur, Ginger (Rodger) Teaff of San Antonio, TX, Shane (Kara) Cleckler of Frisco, TX; 10 great grandchildren, Stephanie Kidd of West Lafayette, IN, Hannah, Sarah, Olivia Railey of Decatur, Alexandria, Colin McNay of Hoover, Bailey, Grayson Teaff of San Antonio, TX, Thomas, Charlotte Cleckler of Frisco, TX.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Pallbearers are Ross Bailey, Tim McNay, James Cleckler, Wendell Kelley, Jimmy Payne and Pat Wilson. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
