Cecelia died at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, OH and was buried 19 May 1959.

Mrs. Hugh Finnegan.
Mrs. Cecelia M. Finnegan, 83, formerly of 702 Milan Ave., died in St. Vincent Charity Hospital, Cleveland Saturday at 11:30 p.m. She had been ill for two years. Mrs. Finnegan was born in Amherst April 18, 1876. She had been a resident of Amherst all of her life until she moved to Florida nine years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary Post 33 and the NARC.
She is survived by her husband Hugh A. Finnegan; five sons, Thomas, Farrel, and Joseph, all of Amherst; two daughters, Sr. M. Josita of the Sisters of St. Augustine, Cleveland, and Miss Corrine Finnegan, Zephyr Hills Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. G.A. Menz, and Mrs. C.J. Aschenbach, both of Amherst; and Mrs. Florence Mahoney, Cleveland; 10 grandchildren: and two great grandchildren.
Solemn High Mass will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Rev. Joseph Lambach, Pastor, Rev. Robert Knuff, Wooster, and Rev. James H. Smith, Garfield Heights, will sing the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Friends may be received at the Garland Funeral Home.
