Alexander Figart,
Died very suddenly at 11.12 o'clock Saturday morning at the residence of his son James Figart, 3823 Fifth avenue, of heart trouble. Deceased was born Jan. 31, 1848. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Figart, and these children: James M., Harry H., Joseph E., Howard R. of Altoona; Rev. John C. Figart of Clymer, Rev. M. L. Figart of Matthew Court House, Va., Mrs. Martha Kephart of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Viola Greenleaf of New York City. These brothers and sisters also survive: Thomas and William Figart and Mrs. Mary Smith of Altoona, Mrs. Margaret Wingblade, Mrs. Anna Hileman and Daniel Figart of St Louis. There are twenty-five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Gilden Funeral Service home, 1331 Eighth avenue, conducted by Rev. O.G. Blackwell, pastor of Fairview Church of Christ. Interment, which will be private, will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery, Hollidaysburg. Friends are asked to omit flowers.
