Timothy Michael Pope, 39, of Vermont Heights, died Aug. 9, 2005, at his home. Mr. Pope was a native of Palatka and had resided in Vermont Heights since early childhood. Mr. Pope attended schools in St. Johns County and worked as a point operator at VAW Industries. Mr. Pope attended New St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Armstrong. Officiating: The Rev. Alphonso Harvey, pastor; The Rev. Curtis Murray, eulogist. Calling hours: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chase Chapel and from noon until the time of service at the church on Saturday. Burial: Armstrong Cemetery.

Survivors: His parents, Betty C. Pope, Vermont Heights, and Raymond Randolph, Armstrong; four brothers, Anthony Pope and David Pope, both of Vermont Heights, John Randolph and Randy Randolph, both of Armstrong; one sister, Alice Maxwell, Armstrong; grandmother, Precious Randolph; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
