NOTE:
Lewis' will mentions a daughter Mary who was by his first wife but she is not found in the census records living with her family. His will also mentions a daughter Emma but there was no mention of her Mother in Lewis' will. Emma married George Homer Fisher (1863-1950) and had a son Lewis B. Fisher. His will also indicates that he had three sons - Daniel, David, and Elijah. Elijah appears on the 1880 US Federal Census with his brother Enels. Elijah is aged 1 and Enels age 10. They are both living with their Father's married Sister and her husband (David and Elizabeth Williamson). In 1870 Levi (listed as Levina and female), Edmon, and Enels are living with Lewis and his wife Nica (Nicey). Levi is aged 5, Edmon is aged 2, and Ennels is aged 3 months. All are listed as being born in Delaware. No mention is made in his will of Ennels, Levi, or Edmon. Emma, David and Daniel also do not appear in Census records with Lewis.

Lewis' last will and testament is most interesting and makes you wonder what happened within this family:

"I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Lavinia May Hilyard Blizzard - the sum of $1.00 in lieu of her thirds of my estate"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Samuel Brown - the sum of $1.00 - for the abuse he gave me upon a certain Sunday in year 1912"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Nettie Brown, a daughter of Lavina my wife- the sum of $1.00 for the abuse she gave me when she ordered me away from the farm"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Elizabeth Mutie - $1.00 for her abusive language"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Milton Hillyard, my wife's son - the sum of $1.00 for the abuse he gave me upon Nov 12 1912"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Patience West - the sum of 20 dollars for the care she rendered my wife in her last sickness"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Mary A., my daughter by my first wife, now living in Philadelphia, PA, the sum of 1 dollar"

" I give, devise and bequeath to Lewis B. Fisher , my grandson, the sum of 1 dollar" (and all of his real estate)

"I give, devise and bequeath to David Blizzard, my son, the sum of one dollar"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Daniel Blizzard, my son, the sum of 1 dollar"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Elijah Blizzard, my son, the sum of 1 dollar"

"I give, devise and bequeath to Emma F. Fisher, my daughter, the balance of my personal estate after all my just debts and funeral expenses are paid by my executor"

Lewis also states in his will that Charles Dunn was to be the undertaker to prepare him for burial and that the expenses of his funeral were not to exceed $75.00

He appointed his grandson Lewis B. Fisher as executor, with his daughter Emma Fisher to be the executrix if Lewis was unable. Lewis renounced being executor, so Emma took charge

Lewis also added the following in his will:
"If any of the above named to whom I have devised and willed a portion of my estate, shall find fault with this my will, it is my will and I hereby direct that they shall have nothing, absolutely nothing from my estate"
