Earl Copp Brumback, 86, of Middletown died Thursday morning in Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Edinburg United Church of Christ, the Rev. Daniel R. Kasten officiating. Interment will be in Cedarwood Cemetery in Edinburg. Mr. Brumback was born June 17, 1886, in Woodstock, son of the late Joseph Brumback and Julia Copp Brumback. He was the husband of the late Lucie Clinedinst Brumback. A realtor, he was a member of the Edinburg United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Izaak Walton League and John Dove Royal Arch Chapter 21, Winchester. He is survived by one brother, Joseph Edward Brumback of Baltimore, Md. Pallbearers will be Malcolm T.Brumback, James I. Brumback, Frank H. Brumback, James L. Baker and Elmer L. White. Honorary bearers will be Jacob Haun, W.Earl Edwards, Harry S. Headley, Harold O. Lindamood, Elmer J. Mather, Rodney Luttrell, William H. Logan, and Richard H.Romack. The body is at Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg. It will be placed in the church one half-hour prior to the service. The family will meet at the Brumback home about an hour prior to the service.
