This John Tillie was born about 1600; he came to America in 1624 and was first in Cape Ann. In 1633 He removed to Dorchester Massachusetts. He was killed by the Indians Oct 1636. He is not the son of John Tillie who came to America 1620 on the Mayflower and who married Joan HURST Rogers, widow of Thomas Rogers of Henlow, Bedfordshire Eng. This couple did have a son who was baptized 1599 but according to the Great Migration they have found no other records for him. It is possible this son died before coming to America with his parents.
