Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Jan. 20 for Mrs. Girdie Andrews of Rabun. She died in a Mobile Hospital Friday following a long illness.
Mrs. Andrews was 64 years of age and had been a resident of the Rabun Community for the past 27 years.
The Rev. Will Fretwell conducted the services from the Splinter Hill Holiness church with interment being held in Bryars Cemetery in Perdido. Thrasher's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by ten daughters, five sons, 85 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and other relatives.
