Mrs. Lillie Baxley, 83, 1911 Oak Hill Circle, Dallas, died late Friday in Baylor Hospital, Dallas.


She was born Dec. 15,1895 in Hopkins County, daughter of James Newt and Hester Ann Owens. She was married to L. C. Baxley Sr. in Como on Dec. 12, 1910.


He preceded her in Mr. Massey died at death in 1966. A son, Murrill Baxley, also preceded her in death in 1979.


Survivors include six sons, Larry Baxley, L. C. Baxley Jr., Odell Baxley and Ray Gene

Baxley, all of Sulphur Springs, and T. J. Baxley and Arvill Baxley, both of Dallas; and five daughters, Wilma Baxley and Maurine Baxley, both of Dallas, Mrs. A. C. Acker of

Greenville, Mrs. Billy Dollar of New Boston, and Mrs. Clyde Dickey of Sulphur Springs.


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Murray-Orowosky Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris Hill and the Rev. Steve Swafford officiating.
