Years of research have traced Adams children and grandchildren. According to the cenus documents from the Ora Labora and Caseville area in 1870's and 1880's Adams families, migrated to many areas in Michigan on the Census from 1900 to 1940's, including Pigeon and Bad Axe area. From 1940's to the 2000's, data support that Adams decendents have spread across the United States as well as other countries. Many marriage and death records also support the census data. A few believe Adam may have had more children, but supporting documentation is yet to be found.

Adam Harder and his wife catherine were found on the 1870 Mortality Schedule in Fairhaven Twp Michigan,stamped Sept 17, 1870. Adam's occupation was a blacksmith and he died of dropsy. Catherine was a housewife and died of ashma.
