Funeral services for Alva "Babe" PATTERSON ROBINSON, 89, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in Vian, with the Revs. Larry Miller and Dwain Houston officiating. Burial is in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. ROBINSON was born Jan. 9, 1910, in Mulberry, Ark., to Thomas Finley MARLOW and Susan Alice (COLLUM) MARLOW. She died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Wayne PATTERSON March 8, 1925, in Gore. He preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1965. She married her second husband, Ed F. ROBINSON Feb. 4, 1974, in Stilwell. He also preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Mina; two sons, Charley and Robert; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lue; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mrs. ROBINSON was also preceded in death by one daughter, Vera RISLEY.
