Richard D. "Dick" Worthen, 71, died February 21, 1992 at his home.
Born July 25, 1920 in Salt Lake City to Charles H. And Nellie Jane Peck Worthen. Married Dorothy D. Salt in Farmington, UTah, Dec. 31, 1937; she preceded him in death. He served in World War II in the elite 10th Mountain Division; Employed by Eimco Corp; owned and operated a mink ranch in Draper for 15 years; Member of Machinist Union Local 1525; Eagles Lodge; and the Holladay Gun Club where he worked and served on the Board of Directors for the past three years. He was known to all there as ''Grandpa.''
Survived by son, Richard, Jr.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services Monday, Feb. 24 1992, at 2 p.m., Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. and Vine St. There will be no viewing.
