Burial for Jimmy A. King, 59, of Sherman, who passed away on January 24, 2005 in Sherman took place on Friday, January 28, 2005 in the Long Creek Cemetery in Sunnyvale, Texas. Jimmy was born on January 7, 1946 in Roxton, Texas to Raymond Auto "Pete" and Naomi Ruth (McCurdy) King. Mrs. King later married Lloyd Lewis and he became Jimmy's stepfather. He is survived by his nieces, Tracy Drane of Forney, Texas and Patty Logan of Sherman; nephews, Michael Logan and Wesley Logan, both of Sherman; three great-nephews and two great-nieces. He is also survived by his aunts, Marie McLean of Sherman and Lois McCurdy of Dallas. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; sisters, Genny King and Edith Brannon; and nephew Rick Logan. Waldo Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
