Born February 26, 1902 in Elwood, Utah to Joseph Williman and Inez Evelette Rose Haws. Married Michael Elmo McMillan November 5, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died September 29, 1964. She was an active member of the LDS Church, very active in the Relief Society, member of the DUP. An avid sports fan, she loved the Utah Jazz. She loved cooking and loved to share it with others. She made beautiful quilts, and enjoyed crocheting. Travis was a kind and loving person. Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.

Added by her niece, Sharon Haws Jewkes:
"Why she was named Travis"
Her father left on a mission before she was born. He wrote home and said that he wanted their baby to be named after his missionary companion rather it was a boy or girl. It was a girl and she was named 'Travis'. She married Michael Elmo McMillan on 5 Nov 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Travis became the step mother of Elmo's four sons from a previous marriage as his first wife had passed away. They became the parents of four more children. She was my dear aunt and I remember her great cooking that she loved to share and her beautiful quilts. My brother received her name of 'Travis'. He also named a son, Travis, and has grandchildren carrying the name. Many years later 'Travis' became the #3 name for boys in the United States.
