Services for Mrs. Beckie Lou Kerr of Rt. 2, Bexar, Ala., were held May 31, 1966 at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery with Senter Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Kerr died May 30 at the Itawamba Hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks. She was 88.

Survivors included six sons, Alvin of Hamilton, Ala., Elzie of Bexar, Ether, Olan and Connie of Zion, Ill., and Lema of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Harris of Bexar, Mrs. Vena Johnson of Lynn, Ala., Mrs. Retha Stone of Bexar, Mrs. Reba Gottschalk of Zion, Ill., and Mrs. Deisie Russell of Detroit, Ala.; six brothers, George Pierce, Mart Pierce, Houston Pierce, Nathan Pierce, Garvin Pierce, and Williams Pierce; five sisters, Mrs. Ellen Satterwhite, Mrs. Catherine Lundy, Mrs. Mittie Brewer, Mrs. Zenia Holloway and Mrs. Lisha Lathan.
