Warner Robins: Mr. James E. Thompson (Shagg), 61, passed away on April 15, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment service will be held at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by his parents Mr. John Henry Thompson and Ms. Thelma Bryant Cherry. Mr. Thompson was a custodian for the City of Warner Robins, GA. and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Survivors included his very devoted friend Ms. Margaret Wallace of Warner Robins, GA; Sisters; Glenda (Edmon) Jones, Warner Robins, GA; Mary Harris, Americus, GA; Sonja (Lonnie) Corker, Macon, GA; Brothers; Sandy (Teresa) Cherry, Jr., Jeffrey Cherry, Macon, GA; Steve (Angela) Cherry, Stone Mountain, GA; William Cherry, Leesburg, GA; Stepdaughter Linda McCullough, Arizona and Tevaris Spencer, Macon, GA, three grandchildren and a number of devoted Nieces and Nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
