He was a professional boat racer, the son of Antone and Otha Lee Bruns of Los Angeles. His Father formerly lived in Van Buren.
Jeffrey was a nephew of Bob and Walter Bruns, Hermie Smith, Pauline Lambert, Sybil Bruns, Herman Bruns, Francis Bruns.
He is also survived by his sister, Laurie Ellen Bruns of Los Angeles.
He was cremated and memorial services were conducted in California. His ashes were scattered at sea.
